René is a native German with a Global outlook to life. After having spent over twenty-six
years abroad, mostly in the United States and Latin America, he returned recently to
Europe. Over the years, he has developed a genuine interest in people, which ultimately
motivated him to pursue a more structured learning path into the field of coaching, where
he earned his professional coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Coaching
in Santa Barbara, California.
Prior to entering the field of coaching, René dedicated his career to the financial services
industry, spending over twenty years in a broad variety of managerial and executive roles
on Wall Street. He has also been an active investor in start-up companies in the sectors of
social media, craft beer, healthcare and coaching.
René has served in a number of non-for-profit roles as a member of the board of directors
of the Brazil American Chamber of Commerce, the Americas Society/Council of the
Americas (AS-COA), the Mexican American Chamber of Commerce (Northeast Chapter)
and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM).
René holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the Berufsakademie in Mannheim,
Germany, and a Masters Degree from the European School of Management (ESCP-
EAP), Paris, France. He has a passion for language, having gained advanced skills in
English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
René takes pleasure in spending time with family & friends, running, trekking, Golf,
Biographies, History and spending time in Nature. He is married with two children.
