Frank Ruffa is an experienced Project Manager having worked in the Systems Engineering field for more than thirty years. Frank’s built his experience base in a number of organizations:

  • U.S. Air Force 8+ years as a Computer Programmer / Analysts
  • Aerospace defense contractors (TRW. Lockheed) 11+ years in a variety of technical roles developing leading edge systems.
  • San Francisco BART District 16+ years responsible for Operational Technology, as well as leading the effort to standardize Project Management practices for the organization, developing a risk-based physical Asset Management program, and winning the Chief Engineer’s Award in 2014.
  • Leveraging on his experience and reputation as a ‘people person’, he is currently engaged as a boot camp instructor for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Previously, he was a professor at Golden Gate University, teaching in the telecommunications management graduate studies program. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and his Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Systems Management, and he holds a current PMP certification.
