Donna Hatch, PhD, MSW, has assisted individuals in a variety of settings to develop successful strategies and achieve more fulfilling personal and/or professional life experiences. Donna has over 19 years’ experience in training, program development and implementation, workshop development, education and change management. Her experience in different business sectors includes customer and employee relations, sales, utilization management, policies and procedures, administration and management and executive development. In addition, Donna has worked with, entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profit organizations and has extensive experience within the health care industry.
Donna’s expertise is in working with individuals to identify their vision and increase their emotional commitment to obtaining those goals. She is passionate when helping people improve their self awareness and assists them in developing a personalized plan to obtain a clear vision for their future.
For companies, Donna is familiar with organizational psychology, she helps to guide management in developing a clear and shared vision that all levels of personnel take ownership for and in turn improve productivity, teamwork, communication and morale. Donna has the capability of understanding the complexities of an organization and how the dynamics within the organization can work effectively to realize a common goal. Through individual and group coaching sessions, she has assisted in identifying ways to facilitate change in individuals and teams, building on personal and professional strengths to create a solid working foundation for the future.
Donna has owned a private counseling as well as consulting company for ten years. She has administrative experience and has designed, marketed, and implemented programs, managed employees and ensured compliance with various regulatory agencies including the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). Donna also has over ten years’ experience in administering, and is certified, in various assessments and measurement outcomes.
Donna served as an adjunct faculty for the College of Southern Idaho and Boise State University. She has also served as the Assistant Coordinator of the Extended Studies School of Social Work in Twin Falls, Idaho. Donna has developed Field placement and coordinated Field experience for MSW and BSW students. She has presented for NASW of Idaho and she has also been invited as a guest speaker for the University of Texas Southwestern for the past two years.
She has a Master’s Degree from Walla Walla, University in Washington State and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, in Santa Barbara, California. Donna is also a certified professional coach through the College of Executive Coaching in Pismo Beach, California, and is a current member of the International Positive Psychology Association and the International Coaching Federation.
